Boudicca’s uncompromising new single ‘Serpentine’ sees fiery feminine rage tear the band through an examination of complex trauma and Shakespearean fantasy.

The song alludes to Lady Macbeth’s stirring of her husband’s ambition and desire to exact revenge, with a plea to be made ‘serpentine,’ and a wish to transform into the famed serpent that hides beneath the unsuspecting flower, ready to strike back.

‘Serpentine’ was mixed, and mastered by Joe Andersons at Woodriver Studios, Newcastle who is responsible for many of the most captivating local heavy releases in recent memory (Feel the Pain, Ill Natured, Daisy Chain, and Spat Out.)

With a recent Dead Kennedys Sydney support under their belt, Boudicca are embarking on a regional NSW tour in Oct/Nov, hitting Byron Bay, Dubbo, and Wagga for the first time alongside hometown shows across venues on Awabakal and Worimi Country.
