Mongrel deliver a heavy blend of death metal and hardcore on new single "Wreckage In Our Path" off new EP coming soon on DAZE / HardLore Records

Hailing from San Diego, CA, Mongrel combine the best elements of 90’s style death metal and hardcore into hard, heavy and grimey tracks. After debuting in 2022 with three track Off The Leash, today Mongrel share the crushing new single "Wreckage In Our Path.” The two-minute long song bursts with hefty riffs right off the bat before pulsating into a primal scream. Lyrics of overcoming hardships deliver swift, bonded with stomping mosh parts and a jolting guitar solo.

Mongrel will release a new EP on February 21st through DAZE and HardLore Records. Mixed and mastered by Dan Swano at Unisound with guitars and vocals recorded with Taylor Young at The Pit and drums with Alex Jacobeli at Sunsick Studios. More details to come.
