Aussie hardcore/crossover newcomers GRAVE RISK announce the release of their much-anticipated debut EP ‘MINDKILLER’, with lead single ‘PAIN IN TRUTH’ available to listen to now. Following the success of singles ‘S.T.K.’ & ‘GUTS’ and B-side ‘BURN AWAY’, GRAVE RISK ripped onto the Melbourne hardcore scene just over a year ago, sharing the stage with local legends Fever Shack as well as Aussie punk heroes, Rage. Showing no signs of slowing down, GRAVE RISK’s intent is evidently on display in their latest offering.

Scaling back on the speed and focusing more on the groove, ‘MINDKILLER’ takes you on a journey of self-doubt, inner turmoil, and perseverance. Whilst touching on some tough themes, it demonstrates ferocity and remains steadfast in its delivery, employing sheer defiance to overcome its desperation. Taking cues from NY crossover legends Mindforce, LA-juggernauts Terror and the gnarly surf-inspired hardcore of Drain, GRAVE RISK take their blueprint and dirty it up with some of the good ol’ Australian red, mixing crushing beatdowns with a barrage of thrash-inspired hardcore riffs.
