Anhedenia Films has released a studio documentary of the making of Gameface's "Always On" album.

In 2000, Gameface went into the Revolver Studios to record their 4th feature length album ALWAYS ON. This documentary looks at the band's recording process in the bygone era of analog recording. Surrounded by behemoth studio equipment, the band was relentless in their efforts to get the power, emotions, and intricacies of their music captured. Assisting Gameface in this process was stalwart, Orange County, music producer Jim Monroe (Farside's THE MONROE DOCTRINE among other records), who lent his considerable skills behind the console to every nuance of the band's record.

Once again showcasing the dynamics of a band in the studio, GAMEFACE - ALWAYS ANALOG captures the classic artist's dilemma of creating something personal amidst time, technical, and financial constraints. What emerged was one of Gameface's darkest, haunting, and powerful records.

A limited DVD of this will be available in 2024 with all proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Buena Park.
