The Hard Ons have announced they are working on a 5 part reissue series thru CITADEL RECORDS that will cover their entire back catalog from 1984 onwards. The band have nearly wrapped up the first installment, that covers the years 1984 - 1987 and plan to hit the road in support of the release. The current lineup of the Hard Ons features former Conation / White Male Dumbinance drummer, Murray who replaced Front End Loader drummer Peter Kostic who occupied the stool after Keish for a 10 year period.

WE HAVE NEARLY FINISHED PUTTING TOGETHER ARTWORK and CD MASTERS for PART 1:

Part 1: 1984-1987.

2CD set in multipanel digipak with 36 page book of photos from our own archives, never before seen by the public let alone published. Liner-notes are extensive. There are 60 songs spread over 2 cds. CD 1 will be SMELL MY FINGER, HOT FOR YOUR LOVE BABY and the three 7" releases from this period + outtakes from these releases, plus rare compilation tracks.

CD 2 will have live tracks, demos, cover versions, a house party tape from 1984 as a 4 piece, basically never-before heard material that just sat in milkcrates, stored away, for their time to come.

We found at Ray's mum and dad's house, a series of comics that were published frequently chronicling satirically, our adventures. These went from 1982-1987, and were never made public. In fact, the only time they were made public were when one issue was given away on the harbour cruise record launch for ALL SET TO GO. Some selected panels will be published.

Projected release date: SOMETIME in MAY 2012.

The band will hit the road in May and June in support of the reissue.
