Brisbane band THE MEAT have released a discography release titled "Primordial Pummel" through Team Glasses and Inner City Uprising.

Lurking the stages and floors of Meanjin/Brisbane’s venues since 2015, The Meat blast through short, sharp sets of truly barbaric hardcore punk. After two demos and two EP’s, they now prepare to release Primordial Pummel, eight tracks recorded live in their rehearsal space. Taking influence from 70’s punk, 80’s hardcore (and all reinterpretations of it since), these are not the five men that would reinvent the wheel - they would instead just use it to roll over and crush whatever comes before them.
