Local indie record label, Fantastic Mess Records will be releasing the new single "Old Car To Shangri-La", which is taken from the Meanies' latest album Desperate Measures.

The single is coming in September and is the sixth in the series of singles (which began in 2008!) featuring Meanies A sides and Meanies covers on the B sides.

The B side of this one features Chinese Burns Unit and the Hellebores doing "The Meanie Twist" and "Lyin'" respectively.

The single will feature a wild sleeve from Glenno Smith and will be available in three initial colours (black/aqua-marine/translucent red - each in a hand-numbered limited edition of 100 copies) with an insert and sticker.
