CRYPT rumbled back into the underground last year after 16 years in the abyss, and now stand poised to unleash their first new material in nearly two decades with a brand new self-titled 7" release. Their undead savagery remains intact and putrefied after years spent rotting in the ground, with two new tracks 'BTK' and 'Mania' doing exactly what they do best - straight forward, old school death metal.
Having reigned from Brisbane throughout the entire decade of the 90s as one of Australia's premiere and pioneering death metal acts, 2016 saw CRYPT re-enter the live circuit off the back of an epic three disc box set that encapsulated all that came before - the Excruciating Agony demo, Crypt EP, and El-Nino album. Most recently they were bestowed the honor of opening for legendary US band Nocturnus on their debut Australian tour.
Limited to 200 copies and available exclusively through Bandcamp, the new 7" will be released on September 29 and is available to pre-order now - and can also be bundled with the band's entire back catalog for one very brutal price.
