Memphis country rockers Lucero were joined by veteran studio horn players Jim Spake and Scott Thompson for their latest album, Women and Work.
"'Sometimes' was written at the very end of our time in the studio," says frontman Ben Nichols. "We only had a day or two left when I finally finished the lyrics. In a way they are the most personal on the record. My family always seems to work its way into my songs. Fathers and brothers and ghosts."
