BLACK WIRE RECORDS in Sydney has hinted that it is closing it's doors for good.
A noise and loitering complaint from a new shop that recently opened on the Parramatta Road strip, appears to be the final nail in the coffin for easily the best live music venue in Sydney.
Despite only last year the Inner West Council proclaimed they wanted the Parramatta Road strip to be the live music capital of Sydney, the decision is really baffling.
Especially when you take into account the amount of traffic noise from one of Sydney's busiest motorways and the Sydney Airport flight path that the area is directly under.
If you're unhappy with the decision why not contact the Inner West Council on (02) 9367 9222 and let them know how you feel?

If you haven't done so yet, watch D.R.I. live at Black Wire Records a few weeks ago.
In what may or may not be the final show at Black Wire Records, Melbounre's INFINITE VOID will be headlining a show on Tursday April 27th.
