Sydney band DARKHORSE are set to release a new album titled "Bomb Thrower" on both CD and tape formats.

‘Bomb Thrower’ is the second full-length album from DARKHORSE and was recorded in October 2016 at Goatsound Studios in Melbourne. The band will be self-releasing the album on CD in February 24, and the Sydney based tape label STOCKED have just done a run of 100 cassettes.

2017 is going to be a busy year for DARKHORSE with appearances at several festivals (FilthFest – Melbourne; Total Attack – Brisbane; Distort Byron – Byron Bay; Asakusa Deathfest - Tokyo) with a full Japan tour in October/November as well as some local shows around Sydney.

DARKHORSE formed in 2011; playing locally and interstate extensively, having toured Europe and Japan, played the Obscene Extreme Festival  3 times (Melbourne 2013, Trutnov/CZ 2014, Tokyo 2015), and supported lots of Australian and international bands including CAPTAIN CLEANOFF (aus), THE KILL (aus), TRAGEDY (us), THE SUBHUMANS (uk), CEREMONY (us), IRON REAGAN (us), PUNCH (us), POISON IDEA (us), BLACK BREATH (us), CRIPPLE BASTARDS (it), DEPRESSION (aus), TERROR SQUAD (jap), TOTAL CHAOS (us), BLACK JESUS (aus).

DARKHORSE will be playing an album launch at Blackwire in Sydney on March 31st.
