Melbourne trio Cable Ties have announced they'll be joining forces with Poison City for the release of their eagerly awaited debut LP. This week Noisey premiered the first taste of the record, a smouldering, stabbing, groove laden single called 'The Producer'. Listen & read Noisey feature HERE.

On 'The Producer' Cable Ties' unswerving rhythm section gives front woman Jenny McKechnie a foundation from which she delivers razor sharp guitar bursts and searing vocals. McKechnie rages against the manipulative powers of cis-gendered men who continue to dominate the music industry as managers, producers, label bosses and "tastemakers". Tension builds til the four minute mark when the Ties change gear and crank out a winding jam. After last year's two killer 7" singles this is the next taste of their forthcoming album recorded with Paul Maybury (from Rocket Science and The Pink Tiles) and mastered by Casey Rice.
