Sydney’s Endless Heights are set to release a new 2 track EP, Pray I Fade on December 9, the first fruits of a brand new worldwide deal with Cooking Vinyl Australia. Additionally, Endless Heights have joined the Select Music roster with Stephen Wade handling bookings.
Pray I Fade will be available as limited edition coloured 7" vinyl and across all digital platforms.

Endless Heights vocalist Joel Martorana explains how the 2 track EP came together and the influence behind it, "Endless Heights stepped away from a full-on tour schedule in 2016 to rediscover the next direction for our music and art. Pray I Fade, in this sense, represents a promise – that we have more to say and leave with listeners. We aren’t done, and we want to delve further into the messaging and truth that began with our 2015 EP, Teach You How To Leave. We’re excited about where our music is heading, and couldn’t help but share a glimpse of what’s to come right in the here and now. The Pray I Fade 7” features two singles and opens up ‘2 sides of the story’ with a whole array of themes and questions that we’ll explore through further releases."
triple j Good Nights premiered the new single Drain taken from Pray I Fade last night. "Drain is about the subtle temptation to control or manipulate others especially across relationships that end in heartbreak. Our true intentions seep out in the shadows of our thoughts and actions. The song plays with this concept and ultimately flips it on its head; 'your shadow', your secret agenda, will never be enough to truly manipulate someone. It will only end in hurt." says Joel Martorana
The video was directed by Thomas Elliott, written and produced by Joel Martorana (Endless Heights Vocalist) and co-produced by Matt Jones (bassist).
Joel explains the concept and idea behind the video "Underlying the video is the motif of one’s shadow, representing the truest parts of our identities that we cannot hide. It integrates the band into a narrative with a character that seems possessed by their own selfish vision. We wanted to present her as a prisoner to the selfish framework of the society she has grown up in. Ultimately, this dialogue represents a desire for inner freedom, achieved by acknowledging these uncomfortable ‘shadows’. And in confronting these vices, she ultimately brings her inner darkness to light - amidst the heartbreak, disappointment, and pain that often burdens this path."
Off the back of the wildly successful Teach You How To Leave EP, which saw the band pick up triple j high rotation for lead cut Haunt Me, the physical pressing of the EP sell out on pre-order, as well as sold out headline shows, jaunts around Australia and Europe with the likes of Luca Brasi and Break Even plus appearances at Unify Gathering and Blurst Of Times, the five piece have been hard at work on new material with a new full length record set to follow Pray I Fade in 2017. They'll be hitting the road in March 2017 touring across the country with Taking Back Sunday.
