Homesick

Sydney band HOMESICK have previewed two unmastered tracks from their upcoming debut LP.

Artwork is by REBIRTH frontman Tyronne Gietzmann.

From the band...

"Due to current events taking place over in the U.S.A with the Dakota Access Pipeline and the indigenous people of America's struggle to keep something that is rightfully theirs, we have decided to release this two part unmastered song from our upcoming album - i) Resist: Invasion ii) Rebuild: Solidarity for free download.

These songs will be individual tracks on the record that flow into one another but we have uploaded them together as one as a symbol in direct comradeship of the Native American peoples struggle that they now face at the hands of a evil and vile corporation just like they did when they were disposed from their lands when white invaders settled upon Native American lands.

This struggle is all too close to home for myself (Joel) and Peter who's ancestors/people have and still do face the same problems here in this country.
We have been forcibly removed from culture, language and land due to people coming and believing that they can take something that isn't theirs.

There's no freedom for any one of us.

Once more we'd like to thank Blake Ohlback for the massive amount of work he's put into this record and for getting this track ready for release.

We would also love to thank Tyronne Gietzmann of Rebirth for designing such an amazing piece that we're using for the digital art for this song, we're hoping to also make it into a run of shirts for Hardcore 2016 and donate the proceeds to charity"
