A teaser has been released for an upcoming documentary on L7 titled "Pretend We're Dead" due out later in the year.
Fans worldwide have come to love L7’s heavy, catchy, riff-oriented guitar grind. Since their recording career began in 1987, L7 have released six studio albums, one live album, and one greatest hits release spawning underground and mainstream hits Shove, Pretend We’re Dead, Shit List, Andres, and Fuel My Fire.
L7 have toured the world over in small clubs, concert halls, and large festivals. They also starred in John Water’s 1994’s “Serial Mom,” and a rockumentary “The Beauty Process” directed by Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic.
The L.A. based band formed in 1985 consisting of Donita Sparks: guitar and vocals, Suzi Gardner: guitar and vocals, Dee Plakas: drums, and at various times Jennifer Finch, Gail Greenwood, and Janis Tanaka on bass have also performed at numerous benefit concerts for Greenpeace, Act Up L.A., and Rock For Choice (which they formed in 1991 with the Feminist Majority Foundation)
L7's Australian tour will kick off this week.
