Available now to stream is “Foe: Paid The Price,” the opening track to FRIEND OR FOE’s crushing third EP, Foe.
With a confirmed street date of August 26th through Flatspot Records, the new release drops five new tracks from the Richmond-based act, this week issuing preorder packages alongside the new track.
Featuring current/ex-members of Bracewar, Fire & Ice, Iron Boots, and more, FRIEND OR FOE follows-up their 2012-released Know Your Rights EP on Reaper Records/Solid Bond Records and 2014’s Outsider EP on Triple B Records and makes their Flatspot debut with Foe.
Packing five new tracks, the new record sees this energetic straightedge hardcore/punk outfit at their best yet, the band’s undeniable NYHC influences coalescing influences from the likes of Breakdown, Sick Of It All, Killing Time, and Agnostic Front with their own hard-hitting style. Foe was recorded in the Winter and Spring months of 2016 at Studio F12 by Sam Deyerle and mastered by Mike Reaves, and features art by Steven Kulesza.
Issues FRIEND OR FOE alongside the new single, “This record is a fuck you to everyone.”
The EP’s previously-released “True” single, featuring guest vocals by Jimmy Williams of Maximum Penalty, is also available to streeam.
Flatspot Records will issue the Foe EP on vinyl and digital formats on August 26th; the EP is preceded by a two-song True promo cassette including a bonus track.
