Nothing is more indicative that you are gonna have a good time, than an EP that intro’s with the crack of several tinnies and some resonating belches. Blindspot are back after hitting the snooze button for a while but their new EP ‘Selfie Titled’ is worth waking up for.
The Perth lads are locked and loaded to launch this fast paced, tight little EP that will not disappoint fans who have come to expect their special breed of ball tearing punk and hardcore collaboration. Blindspot have a reputation for bringing mayhem to the stage, this EP proves the band has evolved as it tackles drug addiction, insomnia, coward punches, selfies and the all important breakfast beers. Recorded and mixed at Wail Records by Todd Fishwick and mastered by Perth legend Alan 'DrAlien' Smith at Bergerk Studios.
Since the successful release of the 5 track EP ‘You’re So Phoney’ in January 2015, Blindspot have been busy playing support for some of the biggest names in international punk including, Millencolin, Pennywise, Anti-Flag, Good Riddance, Versus The World, Unwritten Law, Agent Orange and 28 Days.
The party kicks off in Bunbury at the Prince of Wales on July 15 and the Blindspot chaps are bringing along their buddies Nerdlinger (NSW), Naked Wizard and Ocean Drive for an evening of beers, selfies and free entry!
Then they will tear it up in Perth with another show at The Boston on July 16, with Nerdlinger, Them Sharks, Castle Bravo and Two For Flinching.
