Personal War is the new seven-track outpouring from Birds In Row. First proper song "Torches" breaks into a sprint from the get go. Drenched in expressive guitar work, it tells the tale of life's light overcoming death's darkness. The race continues with "O Dear" and "Weary", two musically infectious songs that are lyrically entangled in the complexity of love. "Worried" then wanders into view as a beautifully melodic piece, slowing to an introspective shuffle before the chaotic "Snakes" picks up the pace.
