Pitt The Elder have recently sprung from Melbourne's pumping punk rock scene. The new project from Emma Thulborn, Jai Kennett and ex-Aitches members, Shaun Scanlan and Matt Yates, have delivered the goods on their debut album At The End Of The Day which drops March 20 via Brisbane label, Arrest Records.
They are providing the real-life soundtrack to a new generation of young, loud and gritty Melbournian punks. At The End of The Day was recorded by Pitt The Elder, with a little help from Sam Johnson (Smith Street Band, The Bennies) who also mixed the album at Three Phase. This record captures Pitt The Elder's signature fiery, riff‐driven, melodic punk rock.
And so it is that Pitt The Elder and Arrest Records are super stoked to announce the release of their debut 12 track record and released on 200 black and 100 limited edition Jameson & Dry coloured vinyl, available for pre-order now.
With the vocals on point, the drums pounding, and the guitar tones dialled in, this record is the perfect complement to the never-ending nights of a never-ending summer.
If you don't believe us, then attend one of their album release shows and let the cathartic melodies wash away your cares.
