The Decline begin recording album number 3 and announce new members
The Decline, have announced that they will be entering Fremantle's Electric City Studios this week, to begin tracking their long awaited third album with Adam Round and Sam Allen, who worked on the band's previous releases; 2011's Are You Gonna Eat That and 2014's Can I Borrow a Feeling.
After the recent departure of Dan Cribb and Nathan Cooper, The Decline are pleased to welcome two new members into the mix: Ben Elliott on guitar and vocals, and Ray Chiu on bass. Elliott plays alongside Pat Decline in ska band House Arrest and also filled in on touring duties for The Decline in 2014, while Chiu has been the bands long term roadie as well as playing in fellow PEE RECORDS band Burning Fiction.
Pat Decline had this to say: "We are absolutely stoked to be moving forward in The Decline with Ben and Ray, we have a bunch of new songs and we really can't wait to get this album out there!"
To celebrate this announcement, The Decline are releasing a series of live videos, filmed at Perth's Vision Studios. The first in this series features the performance of Camberwell Street, a song from the forthcoming album. Old favourites will also be featured in the series, including the bands 2014 single The Evolution of Jesus Jackson
