We are BEYOND excited to announce the signing of singer/songwriter Rocky Votolato to No Sleep Records. We are all long time fans of his as well as his past projects (Waxwing) so we could not be more excited. Look for his No Sleep debut LP this year.
Over the course of the last 15 years, Votolato has produced some of the most powerful music to come out of Seattle. He sharpened his teeth with the influential post-hardcore band Waxwing in the early 2000’s, which lead to a prolific solo career over the last decade. His impressive canon of music is anchored by earnest, lyrical songwriting, and delivered in a unique indie-folk-punk style that has evolved out of the Pacific Northwest music scene he was raised in.
After seven full-length solo albums, Votolato begins the next chapter of his storied career with No Sleep Records and plans to release his first record in years this spring.
