Back in May it was reported that Jos Houtveen of Seein Red/Lärm had developed major hearing problems and that all shows involving his bands were canceled.  Now six months later it seems the bands have broken up for good as the condition has not improved. The full statement from the band can be seen below.

"Sad but fucking true: SEEIN RED is no more :-( ..... Jos his severe ear/hearingdamage is not fixable and it seems that there will be no quick recovery either. After having played together in several punk/hardcore bands (Lärm & Seein Red the best known) for more than 30 years!! it all comes to a very weird and bitter end. I'm in a fucking mournful mood"

Take this as a lesson for all of us, ear plugs are your friend.
