Sydney band CIVIL WAR have announced they are breaking up after a three year existence. The band had been fraught with numerous lineup changes, but still managed to release a demo and the "Jaded Minds" 7inch through Broken Hive.

As a band we have decided to call it a day. Thanks to anyone that has supported this band whether that be by listening to our music by coming to shows, picked up merch, booked us on shows & tours etc. We've played with lots of great bands over the last 3 years and made some great friends in doing so. Keep a ear out for members doing other things and we will also have some news on a last show soon.

Bassplayer Mark currently plays in Hurt Unit, while frontman Pete has recently joined Running Thin on second guitar.
The band's final release were these two tracks released as a promo tape, "Alone / Crucified" through Life Lair Regret Records in Melbourne as a precursor to a new release.
