The band formerly known as DAYLIGHT that due to legal complications, had to change their name to SUPERHEAVEN has announced their next album will be released by Side One Dummy. A record label that probably wishes it could change its name too.
SUPERHEAVEN will release a follow up album to "Jar" some time next year. Meanwhile "Jar" will be reissued with the new name SUPERHEAVEN by both Side One Dummy and Run For Cover records.
From the band...
“We’re excited to have signed to SideOneDummy because it’s something different for us. We just felt like it was the right move. Try out something new and see what happens. The people at the label couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful, so we really look forward to working with them.
We are set to begin recording a new LP this October with Will Yip at Studio 4. You can expect to hear some new music from us in early 2015.
We are also excited to let you know that our previous LP "Jar" will be re-released through SideOneDummy Records in the UK/Europe, and Run For Cover Records in the US. The re-release will have the new Superheaven name and a new look to it. We will have more info on how to get that soon."
