Sunshine Coast four piece DEADLIFT have called it a day on their existence as a band. The band released a 7" on What Remains Records last year titled "Tried & True" and a demo previous to that.

"Hey, for those who care we are done as a band. All four of us are absolutely stoked with what we did and hopefully some others are too. A massive shout out to Allan who was the 5th member and the one who busted his ass to put out a 7" for us.
We never wanted to tour or anything like that, just play our local spots for the people who cared. I sincerely hope some of the lyrics struck a nerve with people in a positive way.
Thanks to those who came out and saw us play, we've got some great memories from those Sun D shows. If you have the Soul Rage demo and the Tried & True 7" we are beyond stoked you got it. Give it a spin every know and then ;)Thanks again, Simmo, Matt, Jackson and Bubba."
