Melbourne five piece Join The Amish bring their killer brand of humour-laden crossover/thrash/hardcore punk to Sydney for the first time on Friday July 18 at the Valve Bar. Featuring former members of The Abandonment, Shallow Grave, Mid Youth Crisis and One Inch Punch, they'll be belatedly launching their The Rumspringa Diaries 12" EP (ranked number 6 on Metal Obsession's best Australian releases of 2013 list) in Sydney.
Joining them will be locals Disintegrator (back with a new drummer), Inebrious Bastard, Jxckxlz and Hacked To Chunks. 8pm. $12.
The following night, Saturday July 19, they play at The Factory Floor (at The Factory Theatre), as part of the launch of Unbelievably Bad zine issue 13, an issue dedicated to the Hard-Ons - who are celebrating their 30th anniversary - that comes with an exclusive Hard-Ons flexi-disc. They'll be playing alongside the Hard-Ons, The Vee Bees, Hostile Objects, Chinese Burns Unit (boasting members of Frenzal Rhomb and Lawnsmell), White Knuckle Fever and Meat Cake (members of Front End Loader, Midget and Grand Fatal). 4pm. $20.
