The Double Negative Facebook page recently announced the departure of vocalist Kevin Collins from the band. The full statement from guitarist Epic Warfare can be seen below. 

Double Negative's final releases with Kevin Collins on vocals were the Hardcore Confusion Vol 1 & 2 7"s from this year.  Earlier this month the band announced plans to temporarily hault that series and the further Vols 3 & 4 7"s to concentrate on an unrelated EP and LP before returning to it.  The band also recently was denied entry to Canada to play some shows. No news yet on a replacement.

"As one door slams shut, we kick open another one. DN has decided to part ways with singer, Kevin Collins aka KC. We're trying out people at the moment and we'll know when we know and so will you. We have a couple out of town shows coming up in November and December, from ATL to Boston. Stay tuned. And for all of you bummed about first Brian not being in DN and now KC....all I can say is SUCK IT. Some of my favorite bands replaced drummers and singers and still put out some of their best stuff." ......Epic Warfare
