Broken Hive and Life.Lair.Regret Recods Presents
BREAK THE ICE 2014

Broken Hive and Life.Lair.Regret are excited to announce the individual day line ups for the annual Break The Ice Festival, to be held in Melbourne this May. Alongside the announcement of day line ups, individual day passes are now on sale at www.oztix.com.au and Oztix licensed retail stores.

In addition to the individual days being announced, we are excited to announce the addition of two new bands to the line up, Brisbane veterans Against and Perth young guns The Others. Each band looks to bring a new vibe to Break The Ice and bolsters an already incredible line up.

Plans are also underway for the extra goodies at Break The Ice and with bake sales, record distros, food trucks, charity tents and so much more, 2014 looks to improve on the community feel of the 2013 event and present a rambling mall of things to keep punters occupied between bands.

Returning in 2014, Break The Ice will once again bring together the best in local and international hardcore for a weekend of community and celebration for the music we all hold so dear. Having doubled the festivals size in 2013, 2014 sees the festival remain in its previous venue at Lilydale Showgrounds whilst expanding to make use of the roaming facilities available. The line-up itself will consist of 10 bands playing across each day, headlined by the force of nature that is Ringworm, and another special guest that will be announced shortly. In support will be other international purveyors of all things hardcore Foundation and Twitching Tongues. Joining the bill on each day will be the best established and up and coming Australian hardcore bands, ranging from coast to coast and all different styles of hardcore. Break The Ice celebrates the diversity of the scene as well as the people that shape it.
