Central Coast hardcore punk band CHOKE have posted a new song, "Penal Colony" off their upcoming 7" 'War of the Suburbs' on their bandcamp. Drawing influences from Boston hardcore punk, US Powerviolence and early Newcastle Hardcore, Choke have put together 5 songs of powerviolence influenced hardcore punk which have been mixed and mastered by Al Smith (Extortion, Shackles, The Others) which will soon be pressed as a 7" record. The band has upcoming shows supporting Slapshot, Mark My Words and Shackles.
