Sydney’s Endless Heights are set to start off 2014 with a run of headline dates, launching their debut album “New Bloom”. The band gave audiences a first taste of the album back in November during their national tour with Daylight, and will now revisit some of their favourite places in the country, taking their good friends Legions along with them.
The album was recorded earlier this year with producer Clayton Segelov at The Brain Studios in Sydney, before being sent off to be mixed and mastered by Will Yip (Title Fight, Blacklisted, Balance And Composure) at Studio 4 in Philadelphia. Since the album dropped on November 15, the initial reaction has been impressive, including a #32 spot on the Short.Fast.Loud 2013 end of year listener poll.
Joining the band on most dates is Sydney’s metallic hardcore outfit Legions, breaking a period of silence in which they have been writing material for their forthcoming release. The band released a split with Newcastle’s Downside earlier in the year, which served as a precursor of what is to come from the band’s next release, set to surface at some stage in 2014.
The bands will hit Adelaide, Mt. Gamier, the returning Sike Your Mind Festival in Melbourne (Endless Heights only), Brisbane and Sydney on the run of dates. Pre-sale tickets for Sike Your Mind are available now through Moshtix, and further details for the band’s hometown launch show in Sydney, including pre-sale ticketing information, will be released shortly.
