SydneyDucks

The first two singles by Sydney Ducks flew off the shelves and only a few of the second remain in print. While these guys figure out their next moves, this new record finally lets us have a taste of something new: one original and one (fantastic) cover - both powerful, and both true to the sound that makes people so excited by this band. The title track, "Death Toll," reverberates with that powerful and eclectic sound the Sydney Ducks are known for, and the cover of Third World War's "A Little Bit Of Urban Rock" (a staple in the Sydney Ducks live set) is a genuine crowd favorite.

The Sydney Ducks was the name given to a gang of criminal immigrants from Australia in San Francisco, during the mid-19th century. Because many of these criminals came from the well-known British penal colonies in Australia, and were known to commit arson, they were blamed for an 1849 fire that devastated the heart of San Francisco, as well as the rampant crime in the city at the time.
