BLOOD ROCK FEST 2013

Founded in 2009 by The Chainsaw Hookers BLOOD ROCK FEST is back for its 6th installment. On November 9th, BLOOD ROCK FEST will be held at the Rosemount Hotel, North Perth, Featuring over 15 punk/hardcore/heavy bands over 2 stages.

Locals Legs Electric, Bayou, Medicine, The De Niros, Troll, Order Of The Black Werewolf, The Kuillotines, Amidst The Broken andSilver Foxes (Debut gig featuring members of Kerb, Billings Method, Chainsaw Hookers & The Decline) have just been announced for Blood Rock Fest 2013. They will be joining headliners Israeli Fat Wreck band Useless ID as well as Perth bands Chainsaw Hookers, The Decline and Monuments and interstate bands The Hard Aches (SA), Clowns (VIC), Declaration (VIC) and Firearms who were already announced.

 Israel isn't a country that springs to mind when rattling off thriving punk-rock scenes, in fact the Middle East probably wouldn't even rate a mention. That’s not to say it’s not alive and hasn't been for a number of years now. Israel’s own Useless ID have been representing their homeland for almost 20 years now and stand on their own as the most successful representation of punk rock from the Middle East. They will be playing Blood Rock Fest as part of the 1st ever headline tour of Australia from 8th - 16th November.

Chainsaw Hookers are a Hard Punk Rock act from Perth, Western Australia. Known for infectious hooks and lyrics laced with horror movie themes. The ‘Hookers live show is a powerful onslaught not too be missed!  Since their inception in ’05 Chainsaw Hookers have played hundreds of shows in Perth and WA. Over the past few years they’ve been on the road numerous times spreading blood on the east coast of Australia building up a contingency of hardcore supporters.

With a fast-paced, energetic sound, The Decline has mastered the art of punk rock, and has quickly become a recognisable name not only in Australia but also internationally and have been nominated for a WAMi in the “Best Punk Act of 2013”.
