Another band we overlooked recently is BETWEEN EARTH AND SKY. Featuring a line up of Greg Bennick, Alexei Rodriguez, and EJ Bastien of TRIAL and CATHARSIS; Sean Lande of STRAIN and BY A THREAD; and Happy Kreter of GOB, the band recently released a 6 track EP through Refuse Records. BETWEEN EARTH & SKY "Of Roots and Wings" LP contains 5 new songs and one instrumental recorded by Blair Calibaba (Strain, Trial) and Paul Forgues (Slayer, Hatebreed) in 2009 and 2010.

The band have only recently started playing live dispite being together for close to a decade.

"We are on a roll. We played our second show in eleven years at Rain Fest in Seattle last year, after our fifth practice.  Then we launched a full European tour in the summer of 2013. We are moving quickly, yes, but worry not: we are hydrating adequately and have excellent support networks to get us through the lonely times."
