No Idea records will be reissuing Samiam's "Whatever's Got You Down". Originally released by Hopeless Records in 2006 but sounded absolutely terrible, this new version was remixed and remastered by Jeff Dean of THE BOMB. The reissue also includes a bonus song and updated artwork by guitarist Sergie Loobkoff. The record is due out on November 5th and will be available through Poison City.

In other Samiam news singer Jason and guitarist Sergie have joined an all star cover band called FELLED TREES to cover Dinosaur Jr's "Where You Been" record. The band features members of Thrice, Samiam, Texas is the Reason, The Jealous Sound, Last Days of April, No Motiv, Suedehead, Knapsack, and RX Bandits. The record will be titled "Where We Been" and will be released by Siren Records on November 5th.
