Shorfuse Records and La Vida Es En Mus have teamed up to release a 9 track discography LP for early 80's Brisbane punk band, Public Execution. Comprising of their "Methadone Slave/SS Brigade" 7 inch, split tape with Kicks (An Execution of One's Indulgence) and a the Public Execution cassette EP.

The band will be reuniting to launch the LP on October 13th in Brisbane. Details below..

The early 80's in Brisbane were a time of bent cops, bad drugs and good times for punk rock. Public Execution were at the forefront of the change in Brisbane from punk rock to hardcore. Supporting the likes of the Dead Kennedy's and playing with Mystery of Sixes and the like, they broke up in 1984 with one incredibly rare 7" SS Brigade/Methadone Slave and two cassette releases to their name. Now over 25 years later their entire catalogue is available again as a LP and its getting launched October 13th at the Sunday RNR BBQ.

Supports are provided by White Devil,  Goldstool and Dugong and the Riotards.

The doors open at 2pm sharp and its free for anyone with a heartbeat who is over 18 yo at 633 Ann Street Fortitude Valley.
