Sweden’s AC4 who recently released their second album "Burn The World" via Ny Våg Records and Deathwish Inc. have announced a long term hiatus as the members focus on other musical projects. You may recall our post about Dennis Lyxzen's new band INVSN not long ago.

Below is a statement from the band...

"AC4 is taking a long break, but will probably be back for a short reunion tour next spring. There will be no more AC4 albums, but the band will try to record a couple of last songs for the new Umeå Hardcore compilation LP on Ny Våg.

If you liked the music and lyrics on AC4's "Burn the World" LP, then The T-55's is the continuation of that. The T-55's is Karl's brand new hardcore punk band, with brand new members. The first 7" is being recorded next week and a few live videos are on-line already.

The main reason for this break is that Dennis have decided to focus almost entirely on INVSN (aka Invasionen). They will release their third album on September 24 on Razor & Tie records and support Minus the Bear on a US tour in October. A Swedish album version will be out on November 20 on SONY Music.

Fredrik will of course continue drumming in Umeå hardcore band Sänkt and working at his Parasit Studio, the home of all AC4 recordings. He also custom builds cool guitar pedals and plays guitar in UX Vileheads.
