Earth Crisis has never been accused of being pacifistic in their political stances. Ever since their now classic 'All Out War' EP hit the airwaves back in 1992, the Syracuse, N.Y. band has been one of the most controversial and outspoken artists in the heavy music community.

This year Earth Crisis released 'Neutralize the Threat,' their sixth studio album. Armed with songs like 'Counterstrike' and 'Raise,' the 10-track collection is another explosive example why the veteran hardcore act is still as vital today as they were in the '90s.

"Every song is lyrically inspired by real-life vigilante actions that have taken place around the globe," said Earth Crisis in an official statement. "The topics range from The Black Panther Party to Bernard Goetz, and we think it's an original lyrical concept for the band, while also retaining some subject matter we are known for dealing with in the past."

Noisecreep has partnered with Earth Crisis to bring you the world premiere of the video for 'Total War,' one of the most incendiary songs on 'Neutralize the Threat.'

"I think my favorite part about working on this record was demoing vocals with Karl," Earth Crisis guitarist Scott Crouse told Noisecreep earlier this year. "We sat in my aunt's living room for a week, just researching the topics, watching video interviews with some of the subjects, and doing vocal placement on the songs. It felt like the early days when we used to discuss political issues and opinions more often."

Earth Crisis' 'Neutralize the Threat' is out now via Century Media.
