Richmond, VA straight edge hardcore band Down To Nothing have begun preorders for their upcoming full length on Revelation Records "Life On The James". The album is due out on Sept 5th.
The band recently released the "Greetings From Richmond" 7 inch on Revelation as a precursor to their upcoming LP. The 7 inch features two LP tracks and the exclusive, non-LP B-side track "Swallowed Up."
Down To Nothing organized in Richmond, VA in 2000, with little more than writing songs and playing shows in mind. Now 2013, Down To Nothing is straight edge's longest active, unbroken band. "Life On The James" is their fourth full-length record. Given current Down To Nothing singer David Wood also plays bass in Terror, the band has become a bit of a side project of late.
Of course fellow Richmond, Virginia band AVAIL, also released an album titled "Over The James". The James is in refrence to the James River which flows through the town.
