Melbourne youthcrew hardcore band RIGHT MIND have released news of a preorder for a new shirt design to benefit refugees and raise awareness to the asylum seeker election issue saga.
The shirt is cheap to order at just $16, with $5 from each sale being donated to charity.
From the band....
"This T-shirt is in response to the Australian governments horrendous change of policy towards asylum seekers and refugees.
This policy is in direct violation of the UN's refugee convention which Australia has signed and is a breach of human rights.
Wear this and educate those in this country who think otherwise.
$5 from this shirt will be donated to a charity that supports refugees in Australia."
Great and very worthwhile incentive from these youngsters. Also awesome to see the continuing rise of local hardcore becoming more socially concious again.
