The Bouncing Souls have announced the departure of drummer Michael McDermott (black shirt right side of pic) after 13 years of occupying the stool in the band.
Former Murphy's Law drummer, Michael McDermott joined the band after Hopeless Romantic in 1999 replacing long-time drummer Shal Khichi. How I Spent My Summer Vacation was the first album released with the new line-up with McDermott playing on a further five albums up to latest release Comet.
The band had this to add..
"Our brother and band mate Michael Mcdermott has decided to leave the band to pursue other musical interests. It has been an amazing 13 and a half years. We love you and wish you all the best! Here's to the memories! We don't know what's next (we never have!) but we know its gonna be rad! Onto the future!"
No word yet on who his replacement will be.
