Perth’s “Vanity” begun in 2009 to an acclaimed demo cd with a fresh new sound which has gained them multiple international tour supports, as well as visiting most major East Coast cities of Australia multiple times over the years. Partnered up with Arrest Records, they have released the now out of print “Hitting Home” 8 song ep, “A Thousand Feuds “ 4 song ep, and a split 7” with Safe hands.

Arrest Records is proud again to be part of the continuing musical journey, they have to offer Vanity “The Cast Shade” full length CD containing 13 blistering tracks. Recorded in December of 2012 in Adelaide, they have created a melodic hardcore album to challenge the works of their peers of Norma Jean and The Chariot. Vanity has never been the band to play and follow the trends, they create music they love and share their passion. From August we will see them yet again leave their isolated city of Perth and venture to the East Coast showcasing this new release live.
