Midnight Funeral has announced the launch of two new preorders for a live LP by Sydney band MILHOUSE and a 7 inch pressing of former Like Alaska member Jen Buxton's "Desperation Demos".
Recorded at last years POISON CITY WEEKENDER by Sean Callanan, and mastered by Sam Saljooghi, this is MILHOUSE LIVE!
This show was one of the best moments in my year last year, and I wanted to share it with everyone!
This is 23 minutes of pop punk fun-ness, presented raw and as the band played, it is a document of a great festival and a great weekend(er)!
The original Idea was to just have 100 copies of this for the weekender this year, but then I realised how many other people would want one too, so there is 150 available on black, and 100 on colour for the show this year!
The cover has yet to be decided upon, but you will receive an instant download of the entire set, mastered for vinyl by Sam Saljooghi.
The release date for this record is the Mid September, but I am expecting them a bit earlier.

Jen Buxton - Desperation Demos 7"
Jen has been one of my favourite local artists since I first heard her debut LP "Don't change your plans"(On Poison City Records). Jen recorded these songs (originally with a FENCES cover) in a mates spare room in 2 hours in April. My wife bought back a copy from Tasmania, and I fell in love with the recording of these songs. It was honest and quick and perfect, so I set about hassling her to release them on vinyl.
So here we are. 4 songs of pure heart available on 7".
The artwork on this one, is from my copy of the CD demo, which has artwork by Jen's little one. I loved it, and convinced her to run with this concept.

Please note: I will not be able to save copies of the 2 last colours for anyone, as they are part of the agreement I have with the artist and her label. You will need to organise someone to pick them up for you if you need all colours, as if I sell you them, I have to go into the store and pick them up, just like any other customer.
