Iron Chic is a melodic punk band from Huntington Station, NY. Formed back in 2008, the band released a 5-song demo tape, followed by the Shitty Rambo 7inch the next year, and finally their debut full-length, Not Like This, in 2010 - all on Long Island-based Dead Broke Rekerds. The band garnered quite a bit of attention, not only for their music, but also because they were hailed as a "supergroup", featuring members of Latterman, Small Arms Dealer, Capital and more. In the following years, the band released a split 7inch, and toured when they could.

Fast forward to 2012, and Iron Chic wrote and recorded what would become the Spooky Action EP, initially offered by via Bandcamp and soon to be available (Spring 2013) on vinyl from Bridge Nine as a precursor to their new label debut coming later this year.

The new vinyl version of the Spooky Action EP will feature two original songs ("Spooky Action At A Distance" and "Less Rest For the Restless") and a new exclusive cover song, "Bonzo Goes to Bitburg" by the Ramones. Bridge Nine Records will release the EP digitally on May 14th and physically on June 25th, 2013. In the meantime, the EP will be up on Bandcamp and will get a European release through Yo Yo Records/Drunken Sailor Records in relation to Iron Chic's forthcoming Euro (& UK) tour that begins later this month.

More information regarding Iron Chic's Bridge Nine full-length will be coming soon.
