Introducing 'Live at the Gasometer... We Hated It Before You' a series of shows/recordings featuring the bands and friends of the Gasometer who have supported the Melbourne music venue and bar over it's first three years.

Leading off on Saturday April 13 is a stellar lineup featuring the tonal blasts of White Walls fresh off a Dinosaur Jr support and the announcement of their inclusion on the Release the Bats ATP lineup. The melodic punk urgency of Deep Heat, the bombast and blast of Shit Weather, organ driven punk of Gold Tango, the punishing squall of Gentlemen and the brouhaha that is Cuntz.

The plan is to record each show in it's entireity then have each band select two songs. These will be mixed, mastered and a limited number will be  pressed with artwork and screen printing from Steve Cohen (Too Far Gone printing).

The $15 admission to the show will include an LP once it's pressed.
Sat April 13 is the first show/record in the 'Live at the Gasometer ..... We Hated It Before You' series that will continue through 2013 and beyond with more genres, scenes and bands to be included.
