Perth based independent label Hindsight Records are excited to announce that Melbourne's Apart From This have joined their roster, and will be releasing their debut album "In Gloom" through the label on April 5, 2013.

Over a year and a half in the making, "In Gloom" is the band's strongest and most focused material to date. The band once again recorded and mixed the material with Sam Johnson (The Smith Street Band, 50 Lions, Anchors) at Three Phase Studios in Melbourne, and the mastering duties were then handed over to Bill Henderson (Daylight, Balance And Composure, Title Fight) at Azimuth Mastering in New Jersey.

A third new song from the album, "Once Bitten, Twice Shy," can be heard  here on the recently re-designed and re-launched Hindsight Records website. Along with the new song, the label is taking pre-orders for the new album, which are set to be shipping in the first week of April. Stay tuned for album launch dates, which will be announced shortly.

The band's vocalist and guitarist Tim Maxwell says of the album and release through Hindsight, "We spent over a year on these songs and feel that our sound has matured majorly over a small amount of time. We're also more than stoked to release "In Gloom" on Hindsight Records with our good friend Carl Diggins. Cannot wait for everyone to hear "In Gloom", it has been a long time coming."

Poison City have announced they'll be releasing the vinyl/ digital version of the forthcoming Apart From This debut album 'In Gloom'. Recorded and mixed by Sam Johnson (The Smith Street Band, A Death In The Family, Arrows) at Three Phase Studios and mastered by Bill Henderson at Azimuth Mastering in New Jersey, 'In Gloom' is a huge leap forward in song writing and production for this young Melbourne four piece, combining 90's influenced bummer-punk with elements of shoegaze and a fierce post-hardcore drive pioneered by the likes of Texas Is The Reason and Rival Schools.
