As tickets continue to be snapped up for one of the most anticipated shows of the year, Break The Ice 2013 gets even bigger with the addition of five new bands to round out the hardcore fiesta that will take place this April.
Perth’s beloved Miles Away will return for a special one off show at Break The Ice. Returning after the successful Make It A Decade tour late last year, Miles Away will once again prove to audiences why they have been going strong for so long and are still one of the most exciting live bands going.
Having just announced their first shows since Break The Ice 2012, there is no better place for 50 Lions to return to Melbourne audiences. With new release “Pray For Nothing” (Resist Records) on its way, 50 Lions are set to make an impact again in 2013 and Break The Ice 2013 will be one of the first stops.
Not yet a household name, but The Others turned many heads on their recent tour with Miles Away and Cruel Hand. Now they return to the east coast to cement their place as one of the hardest bands picking up right now.
Sydney stalwarts Vigilante will be bringing it old school at Break The Ice 2013. Their debut full length “Quality Of Life” (Resist Records) pre-orders sold out in days and the anticipation for this all-star band has been growing as their tread the boards with their bruising hardcore tunes.
Rounding out the line-up will be young Melbourne Krishna and NYHC worshippers Reincarnation. Having turned heads with a demo sounding like it was cast straight from the loins of the Bowery, Reincarnation are doing something classic but fresh. With releases coming thick and fast and incendiary live shows, these boys mean business.
Miles Away, 50 Lions, The Others, Vigilante and Reincarnation will join the already announced Bane (USA), Cold Wold (USA), Rotting Out (USA), Hopeless, Iron Mind, Relentless, Phantoms, Survival, The Weight, Outright, Endless Heights, Thorns and Civil War for what is sure to be a weekend not to forget.
