Check out the track "World I Despise" off Relentless' new up and coming 2013 full length album "Turn The Curse". The album was produced and recorded by Nick Jett who had this to say...
"I just completed mixing a record for Relentless from Sydney, Australia.
Relentless have cemented themselves as real staple in the Australia hardcore scene. I met the guys a couple years back on a Terror tour and since then we talked about working on a record together.
In the middle of June I flew to Sydney to meet up with these guys to start working on the record. We sat in a rehearsal studio for 4 days straight locking in the overall sound of the album and where we wanted to go with things. We built 12 songs influenced by a lot of classic hardcore including a fresh style that is their own. After the songs were tight we entered Electric Sun recording studio to track drums. Dean killed the drum tracks in two days and then we enter Haunted Studios located an hour outside of Sydney in the woods practically. We moved in and started laying into guitars, bass and vocals and sleeping in the studio every night freezing our asses off hitting 20 degrees and below every night. It was quite refreshing waking up to views of the rolling hills of Australia and eating a bowl of wheat bix. We finished the album in a couple weeks and i returned to Los Angeles to mix at The Hydeaway.
The record is entitled “Turn The Curse” and is set to be released late 2012 worldwide. Keep your eyes open for these aussies. You will be enlightened to hear what Australia has hidden under their sleeve. "
