'SKULL AND BONES HARDCORE' has been created to release specifically hardcore genre acts and assist raising more awareness and exposure for these hard-working do-it-yourself artists to the wider heavy music community as well as within the hardcore scene itself. We are pleased to announce the launch of our new sub-brand and our two latest signings.
First up comes Central coast's MARK MY WORDS. With intentions to write fast jams with heart and message, this band are a statement against those waving around the now trendy term ‘Hardcore’ and flaunt a style that echo’s back to days when the music was just a backdrop to the movement from which it came. After numerous national tours and a run of dates in Europe last year, their debut full length album 'Indicators' showcases one of Australian hardcore's greatest talents.
Mark My Words "Indicators" will be available in stores and online September 28th 2012 through Skull And Bones / Shock.
Next up to bat are Melbourne's CROWNED KINGS, bringing a brand of hardcore that is hard to ignore. Delivering straight up aggressive anthems with lyrics focused on current social issues, politics, relationships and the things that mean the most about the hardcore genre and keeping it alive and healthy. The future is sure to be bright and busy, with a strong commitment to tour hard locally throughout Australia and plans underway to tour internationally throughout Asia, Europe and USA. Their debut 12-track album, 'Wise Guy', was produced and mixed at 3phase studios by Sam Johnson and mastered at West West Studios in New York by Alan Douches.
Crowned Kings "Wise Guy" will be available in stores and online September 28th 2012 through Skull And Bones / Shock.
