Shock Records is thrilled to announce an album deal has just been inked with notorious Australian icon Mark ‘Chopper’ Read.

The yet-to-be titled record will be an album of prison song covers sung by Read, with each track having special significance.

A February 2013 release date is expected. Will Chop Chop perhaps cover Social Distortion's "Prison Bound"?

This of course will not be Chopper's first foray into the world of music, having previously recorded a hip hop album.
